Swain's Outdoor

Swain’s Outdoor serves the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State with stores in Sequim and Port Townsend. Swain’s has become a tradition with the locals, with folks coming to us since 1956 when the signs on the front of the store read in bold letters “TACKLE TOOLS TROUSERS TENTS TRINKETS.” Today, Swain’s goal is to carry on the traditions from the past – supplying you with all your fishing, hunting, camping and clothing needs, as well as bring you the quality you expect from the newest brands, and trusted favorites. As years, products, and our markets change, Swain’s Outdoor continues its work to bring you quality at reasonable, low prices.

Our Port Townsend Store

In Port Townsend the saying goes “you’ll find it at Swain’s”. With a little of this and that, Swain’s Oudoor in P.T. is truly the town’s general mercantile. From greeting cards and knitting supplies to fishing poles and hunting supplies, your Port Townsend Swain’s Outdoor has you covered.

Our Sequim Store

The store in Sequim has a much smaller size, meaning there is a greater focus on what products to carry, and what specialty products our customers need, and can’t get anywhere else. For example we are the only local distributor of Boy Scout uniforms, badges and books, as well as the only distributor of Patagonia clothing in Sequim.

Both our stores have your outdoor needs in mind, and will carry on in the Swain’s tradition of bringing you quality, at affordable prices.
